  • Official website launch of www.sga.gatech.edu
  • Jacketpages launched as the new hub for student organization bill and budget submissions
  • Georgia Tech Research and Innovation Conference — SGA launched GTRIC which saw over 300 students and a 100 faculty participate in a poster competition and innovation competition.  Over $85,000 in awards were released to graduate students for their outstanding work and achievements.
  • Career Event — first annual career event, that saw a 150 students show up to learn about best practices for job search and allowing direct communication with industry specialists in a forum.
  • Communications Chair — created as a dedicated position for reaching out to our constituents and listening to their desires.

  • Worked with Office of Budget and Planning to institute centralized GTA/GRA Stipend Policy
  • Worked to ensure that the Graduate Living Center continues to only graduate Students
  • Aided in implementation of mandatory student health insurance plan
  • Held record-setting Graduate Student Picnic with approximately 1,700 attendees
  • Represented graduate students’ views on athletic fee increase
  • Continued to promote the Graduate Student Ombudsperson
  • Worked toward payroll deduction without service charges for GTAs and GRAs, to begin Fall 2007

  • Held record-setting Graduate Student Picnic with approximately 1,300 attendees
  • Worked with Office of Student Integrity to adopt new Student Code of Conduct
  • Represented graduate students’ views on athletic fee increase
  • Worked for $200 contribution to GTA/GRA health insurance for Spring 2007
  • Appointed with Dr. Liotta the first Graduate Student Ombudsperson
