Graduate Judiciary Applications — Application closes: Monday, Nov. 13th

The Graduate Judiciary Cabinet is pleased to announce that it is opening up recruitment for the Fall 2017 season. The GJC hears cases of student/organizational misconduct. Cases arrive at the GJC when a student/organization decides to have a panel of their peers hear the case instead of a representative in the Office of Student Integrity (OSI) or when the OSI representative chooses to send the case directly to the panel. The panel then makes a recommendation to the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Student Integrity who then makes a decision about the student’s/organization’s case.

In addition, the Cabinet serves to uphold the system of checks and balances in the Graduate Student Government. At any given time there are several acting justices and one Chief Justice. A justice on the cabinet is an individual who demonstrates:

  • Strong leadership qualities
  • A vested interest in the Georgia Tech community
  • Strong moral character and integrity
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Any applicant must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Completed 1 semester at Georgia Tech
  • Be in “good-standing” both academically and behaviorally with the Institute
