Graduate SGA Executive Board 2017-18 Application

  • Graduate students are an important pillar of Georgia Tech. A central goal of the Graduate Student Government Association (Grad SGA) is to help strengthen this community. Vineet and I (Skanda) have just been elected to help lead Grad SGA, but we need your help to really make a difference!

We're recruiting for the 2017-2018 Grad SGA Executive Board. As an exec member, you will interact and work with Georgia Tech Administration at the highest levels, lead high-impact initiatives that'll impact GT grad students for years to come, and be a voice of our graduate community. Equally importantly, you will also gain valuable experience for your future career.

High-impact projects spearheaded by Graduate SGA Exec Board members in the past include - SIF reduction advocacy, The Graduate Experience Survey, The Career, Research and Innovation Development Conference (CRIDC), An official Advisor-Advisee Mutual Expectations Document, and many more. On the Grad SGA Exec, you'll be able to play a more active role in these projects while also being empowered to take your own initiatives to students and administration.

If you're eager to play a more active role in making the graduate voice heard and be an advocate for issues that affect us all, we'd love to have you on our team!
