Meeting Time: Sundays, 3:00p - 4:00p in the SGA Office
Purpose
The Information Technology Committee maintains and makes recommendations for all the web-based technology being used by the Student Government Association. The committee is specifically responsible for design and maintenance of the SGA web site.
Current Projects
- Make activities of UHR and GSS (voting records, video, etc.) publicly and easily available to students via the web
- Working with Enrollment Services and OIT to improve the campus portal.
- Partnership with SGA Public Relations to create Class Websites containing information relevant to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
- Improve the Weekly Digest messages distributed by the Dean of Students.
- Improve the interface and functionality of Course Critique.
Past Projects
- Established a Student Advisory Board for the Office of Information Technology. (Spring 2010)
- Completed rewrite of Course Critique (Spring and Fall 2010)
- Completion and launch of new SGA Website (Fall 2009)
- UHR Video feeds (Fall 2009)
- Partnership with other groups in SGA to complete an Information Technology Whitepaper for presentation to the GT Administration.
- Enhance SGA's social media presence.
